MOViN 92.5 - BROOKE & JUBAL'S CUTEST KID CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN; A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.
a. Website Entry. In order to enter via this method of entry, from Monday, June 2, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Thursday, June 12, 2014, go to the www.movin925.com website and complete the entry form, which includes your name, date of birth, email address, zip code and phone number and the child's first name and last initial, date of birth, gender and submit a photograph of the child. All photographs submitted must be of children age 5 and under as of June 2, 2014; we will not accept ultrasound photographs of a baby that is still in the womb. Photo submissions must only include one child in the photo; no collages will be accepted; no text added or logos permitted on the photos. If the photograph you submit is not a picture of your child, you must have the permission of the child's parent or legal guardian before entering the child's picture in this sweepstakes. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for problems accessing the website or completing the entry, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the entry, or any other problems which might or might not result from this sweepstakes. One entry per person; any person submitting more than one entry may be disqualified at MOViN 92.5's sole discretion. One entry per child.
b. Last Chance Remote: In order to enter via this method of entry, listeners may go to Verity Credit Union, 18530 33rd Avenue West, Lynwood, Washington, on Friday, June 13, 2014, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. PDT to have a photo of their child taken. MOViN 92.5's promotional team will set up a photo booth and take pictures of the child and upload the photos to MOViN's website on Monday, June 16, 2014.
2. HOW TO PLAY/HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN: Enter as explained in Paragraph 1 above. In order to vote in this sweepstakes, a listener must register by providing name, date of birth, email address, zip code and phone number. When voting is open pursuant to Paragraphs 2 a-g below, a listener may vote up to ten (10) times per day for his/her favorite child or children. A listener can use his/her votes the following ways: use all ten votes per day on one child or use the votes on multiple children. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for votes not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outages or delay, computer difficulties or other technological problems.
a. Voting Period 1: All eligible entries received will be posted on www.movin925.com from Tuesday, June 17, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Monday, June 23, 2014, to determine the top 500 entries, who will then move on to Voting Period 2. In the event of a tie, all tying entries will be put in a random drawing to determine the winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to move less than 500 entries into Voting Period 2 if there are not enough eligible entries received.
b. Voting Period 2: The top 500 entries chosen pursuant to Paragraph 2 (a) above will be posted on www.movin925.com from Wednesday, June 25, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Monday, June 30, 2014, to determine the top 250 entries, who will then move on to Voting Period 3. In the event of a tie, all tying entries will be put in a random drawing to determine the winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to move less than 250 entries into Voting Period 3 if there are not enough eligible entries received.
c. Voting Period 3: The top 250 entries chosen pursuant to Paragraph 2 (b) above will be posted on www.movin925.com from Wednesday, July 2, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Sunday, July 6, 2014, to determine the top 100 entries, who will then move on to Voting Period 4. In the event of a tie, all tying entries will be put in a random drawing to determine the winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to move less than 100 entries into Voting Period 4 if there are not enough eligible entries received.
d. Voting Period 4: The top 100 entries chosen pursuant to Paragraph 2 (c) above will be posted on www.movin925.com from Tuesday, July 8, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Thursday, July 10, 2014, to determine the top 50 entries, who will then move on to Voting Period 5. In the event of a tie, all tying entries will be put in a random drawing to determine the winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to move less than 50 entries into Voting Period 5 if there are not enough eligible entries received.
e. Voting Period 5: The top 50 entries chosen pursuant to Paragraph 2 (d) above will be posted on www.movin925.com from Monday, July 14, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, to determine the top 25 entries, who will then move on to Voting Period 6. In the event of a tie, all tying entries will be put in a random drawing to determine the winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to move less than 25 entries into Voting Period 6 if there are not enough eligible entries received.
f. Voting Period 6: The top 25 entries chosen pursuant to Paragraph 2 (e) above will be posted on www.movin925.com from Thursday, July 17, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Friday, July 18, 2014, to determine the top 5 entries, who will then move on to Voting Period 7. In the event of a tie, all tying entries will be put in a random drawing to determine the winner(s). Sponsor reserves the right to move less than 5 entries into Voting Period 7 if there are not enough eligible entries received.
g. Voting Period 7: The top 5 entries chosen pursuant to Paragraph 2 (f) above will be posted on www.movin925.com from Monday, July 21, 2014, through 11:59 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, to determine the winner. In the event of a tie, all tying entries will be put in a random drawing to determine the winner. The winner will be contacted by telephone and/or email.
3. PRIZE: The prize will be awarded to the person who submitted the entry; not to the "cutest kid." There will be one (1) winner; the winner will receive the following:
a. $1,000 courtesy of Verity Credit Union.
b. A Sony KDL 40" Bravia LED 1080p television courtesy of Xfinity. Value: $500.
c. An Ultimate Kids Birthday Party for up 12 kids at Acme Bowl, 100 Andover Park West, Tukwila, Washington, which includes: two hours of bowling in the Seven10 private bowling lounge; shoe rental; pizza and soda for each child; a glow necklace and glow bracelet for each child. Plus the birthday child will receive the following: bowling ball; bowling bag; souvenir bowling pin; ACME baseball hat; and ACME t-shirt. Total value of this prize is $475. The prize is subject to the policies, practices and procedures of Acme Bowl and must be used by October 31, 2014. All other expenses (including, without limitation, transportation to and from the bowling alley, food and beverages in addition to those listed above) are the winner’s/guest’s sole responsibility.
d. One (1) annual family membership (includes 2 adults and 2 children under 12) to the Woodland Park Zoo, 601 North 59th Street, Seattle, Washington; value: $124. The membership is subject to the Woodland Park Zoo's policies, practices and procedures regarding annual family memberships.
e. Four (4) general admission tickets to the following Woodland Park Zoo Tunes concerts: Robert Cray on August 10, 2014, at 6:00 p.m.; and Trombone Shorty on August 17, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. Value: $214. The concert tickets are subject to the Woodland Park Zoo's policies, practices and procedures regarding annual family memberships.
A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 4 of these rules. The winner is responsible for paying all applicable income taxes. A 1099 form will be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities, and by signing the Prize Release, the winner accepts the prize, and even if the winner does not use the prize/trip, he/she will be responsible for the applicable taxes.
4. CLAIMING A PRIZE: The winner must complete the required paperwork within thirty (30) business days of the day he/she wins to verify that he/she is a qualified winner. Failure to comply with this deadline shall be deemed to be the winner’s forfeiture of his or her right to claim the grand prize. The winner must prove he or she is a qualified winner by presenting identification acceptable to MOViN 92.5 (e.g., state drivers license; state issued identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social security card and photo identification and address verification). If the winner cannot prove he or she is a qualified winner, the prize will not be awarded. All unclaimed prizes remain the property of MOViN 92.5. Prizes will not be issued to winners unless a social security number is presented. Once the necessary paperwork is completed, the flight itinerary and confirmation numbers will be emailed to the winner.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Individuals must be 18 years or older and residents of Washington and reside within the MOViN 92.5 regular listening/broadcast area to be eligible to enter or win. In order to be eligible to win a prize in this sweepstakes, you cannot have won any prize from MOViN 92.5 of any value within 30 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this sweepstakes; or a prize or combination of prizes with a total stated value of $500.00 or more from MOViN 92.5 within 180 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this sweepstakes. These restrictions apply even if you reject the prize. This waiting period of 30 or 180 days does NOT apply to movie premiere events; winning movie premiere event tickets does not count toward any prize waiting period. Employees of Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC, Hubbard Radio, LLC, Verity Credit Union, Acme Bowl, Woodland Park Zoo and Xfinity, or any radio or television station or media outlet, or their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter or win. Anyone participating in this sweepstakes or claiming a prize in this sweepstakes in violation of these rules will be disqualified from winning a prize in this sweepstakes and from participating in MOViN 92.5 contests/sweepstakes for a period of one year.
By entering this sweepstakes, each entrant is certifying that he or she is not a professional photographer, that the submitted photograph is his or her own original work, and that he or she has the right to allow the publication of the photograph without restriction, and that MOViN 92.5's use of the photograph will not infringe the rights of any third parties (e.g., copyrights, rights of publicity, etc.).
6. RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: The winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility prior to awarding of the prize. The winner (a) agrees to release Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC, Hubbard Radio, LLC, Verity Credit Union, Acme Bowl, Woodland Park Zoo and Xfinity, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies, from any and all liability, claims, damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the awarding or acceptance of the prize(s), and/or misuse of any prize, or to participation in the sweepstakes or in prize-related activities, including any travel related thereto, and (b) consents to the use by Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC (MOViN 92.5) for promotional purposes, of his or her likeness, voice (including posting his/her entry on the website) and/or address (city/state) without any additional compensation. By participating in this sweepstakes, each participant agrees to the application of these official rules. By accompanying the winner, the winner’s guest agrees to be bound by the terms of these official rules, including the preceding release.
7. WINNER LIST: For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope before August 31, 2014, to Winners List, MOViN 92.5, Brooke & Jubal’s Cutest Kid Contest, 3650 131st Avenue S.E., Suite #550, Bellevue, WA 98006.
8. MISCELLANEOUS: Decisions of Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC (“MOViN 92.5”) concerning any and all matters with respect to this sweepstakes shall be final. Sweepstakes void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. MOViN 92.5 reserves the right to change the prize values at any time. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for printing errors in the sweepstakes materials or these rules. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for problems accessing the website, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of voting, or any other problems which might or might not result from this sweepstakes.
