12TH FAN SELFIE CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES
1. HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. In order to enter, from 12:01 AM Pacific Time (PT) Monday, January 20, 2014, through 11:59 PM PT on Sunday, February 2, 2014, go to the www.movin925.com website, click on the contest icon, click on "12th Fan Selfie Contest" icon, complete the entry form and submit your Seahawks fan photograph. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for problems accessing the website or completing the entry, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the entry, or any other problems which might or might not result from this contest. Any person submitting more than one entry may be disqualified at MOViN 92.5’s sole discretion.
MOViN 92.5 in their sole discretion, reserve the right to disqualify any submission if such submission contains illegal, indecent or otherwise offensive material, submissions that are not authorized by the candidate or if such act contains material whose content is deemed, at the sole discretion of MOViN 92.5 to be unsuitable for the public or broadcast on MOViN 92.5/KQMV (i.e. pictures must be clean and no nudity.) Photos must fit the theme of this contest.
2. HOW TO WIN: Enter as explained in Paragraph 1 above.
a. Round 1 of Public Voting. All entries received pursuant to Paragraph 1 above will be posted on www.movin925.com from 12:01 AM PT February 4, 2014, through 11:59 PM PT February 6, 2014 ("Round 1 Public Voting Period"). Listeners may log on to www.movin925.com and vote for the entry that they think depicts the best Seahawks fan and deserves to win from among all entries posted. Each registered voter is allowed to vote up to five (5) times per day during the Round 1 Public Voting Period. The top fifty (50) entries with the most votes during the Round 1 Public Voting Period will move into Round 2 of the Public Voting Period. In the event of a tie for the 50th position, all candidates with the tied number of votes will advance on to Round 2.
b. Round 2 of Public Voting. The top fifty (50) entries pursuant to Paragraph 2 (a) above, will be posted on www.movin925.com from 12:01 AM PT February 8, 2014, through 11:59 PM PT February 10, 2014 ("Round 2 Public Voting Period"). Listeners may log on to www.movin925.com and vote for the entry that they think depicts the best Seahawks fan and deserves to win from among all entries posted. Each registered voter is allowed to vote up to five (5) times per day during the Round 2 Public Voting Period. The top five (5) entries with the most votes during the Round 2 Public Voting Period will be deemed the contest finalists. In the event of a tie for the 5th position, all candidates with the tied number of votes will advance to final judging.
c. Contest Finalists. Once the finalists resulting from Round 2 of Public Voting are verified as eligible, the MOViN 92.5 Morning Show, in their sole and absolute discretion; will determine the winner, based on the following judging criteria: Seahawk pride (33%), enthusiasm for the Seahawks (33%) and creativity (34%). The finalist with the highest overall score using the judging criteria will be deemed the contest winner. In the event of a tie, the finalist with the highest score in the creativity category will be deemed the winner(s) from among all tying finalists. The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email and their name will be announced on air and/or on movin925.com on February 13, 2014.
3. CLAIMING A PRIZE: The winner must claim his/her prize in person at MOViN 92.5 studios at 3650 131st Avenue S.E., Suite #550, Bellevue, WA, 98006, during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) within thirty (30) days of the day he or she wins to verify that he/she is the qualified winner. Failure to comply with this deadline shall be deemed to be the winner’s forfeiture of his or her right to claim the grand prize. Each winner must prove he or she is a qualified winner by presenting identification acceptable to MOVIN 92.5 (e.g., state drivers license; state issued identification card; valid passport with address verification; or birth certificate with social security card and photo identification and address verification). If a winner cannot prove he or she is a qualified winner, the prize will not be awarded. All unclaimed prizes remain the property of MOVIN 92.5. Prizes will not be issued to winners unless a social security number is presented.
4. PRIZE: There will be one winner in this contest. The winner will receive the following:
a. A LG 55" Class (54 5/8" Diag) LED 1080P-60Hz Smart HDTV; value: $820.00.
b. A $300 Seahawk Team Store gift card. The gift card is subject to the policies, practices and procedures governing the gift card.
c. A $100 Visa gift card. The gift card is subject to the policies, practices and procedures governing the gift card.
The prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. A qualified winner must also meet the eligibility requirements as set forth in Paragraph 5 of these rules. A 1099 form will be submitted to all appropriate taxing authorities, and by signing the Prize Release, the winner accepts the prize and even if the winner does not use the prize he/she will be responsible for the applicable taxes.
There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that MOViN 92.5 may, at their sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. Prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed as described above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply. Winner will look solely to the manufacture and/or the end supplier for goods and services for all warranty and liability claims.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Individuals must be 18 years or older and residents of Washington and reside within the MOViN 92.5 regular listening/broadcast area to be eligible to enter or win. In order to be eligible to win a prize in this contest, you cannot have won any prize from MOViN 92.5 of any value within 30 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this contest; or a prize or combination of prizes with a total stated value of $500.00 or more from MOViN 92.5 within 180 days prior to the awarding of a prize to you in this contest. These restrictions apply even if you reject the prize. This waiting period of 30 or 180 days does NOT apply to movie premiere events; winning movie premiere event tickets does not count toward any prize waiting period. Employees of Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC, or Hubbard Radio, LLC, UPICKEM or any radio or television station or media outlet, or their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter or win. Anyone participating in this contest or claiming a prize in this contest in violation of these rules will be disqualified from winning a prize in this contest and from participating in any MOViN 92.5 contest for a period of one year.
By entering this contest, each entrant is certifying that he or she is not a professional photographer, that the submitted photograph is his or her own original work, and that he or she has the right to allow the publication of the photograph without restriction, and that MOViN 92.5's use of the photograph will not infringe the rights of any third parties (e.g., copyrights, rights of publicity, etc.).
6. RELEASE; CONSENT TO USE LIKENESS, VOICE AND ADDRESS: The winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility prior to awarding of the prize. The winner (a) agrees to release Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC Hubbard Radio, LLC, and UPICKEM (including their subsidiaries, affiliates, parent or related companies) from any and all liability, claims, damages and actions arising directly or indirectly out of or sustained in connection with the awarding or acceptance of the prize(s), and/or misuse of any prize, or to participation in the contest or in prize-related activities, including any travel related thereto, and (b) consents to the use by Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC (MOViN 92.5) for promotional purposes, of his or her likeness, contest entry (which will be posted on the MOViN 92.5 website), voice and/or address (city/state) without any additional compensation. By participating in this contest, each participant agrees to the application of these official rules.
7. WINNER LIST: For the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope before March 15, 2014, to Winners List, MOViN 92.5, 12th Fan Selfie Contest, 3650 131st Avenue S.E., Suite #550, Bellevue, WA 98006.
8. MISCELLANEOUS: Decisions of Hubbard Radio Seattle, LLC (MOViN 92.5) concerning any and all matters with respect to this contest shall be final. Contest void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by law. MOViN 92.5 reserves the right to change the time(s) at which announcements are made, or to cancel, postpone or reschedule any or all such announcements. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for any expenses or damages relating to such schedule changes. MOViN 92.5 reserves the right to change the prize values at any time. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for printing errors in the contest materials or these rules. MOViN 92.5 is not responsible for delays attributable to webcasting, telephone line unavailability, busy signals on the contest line, operator interference, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the phone call, telephone system malfunctions, or any other telephone problems which may or may not result from this contest.
9. ODDS-OF-WINNING:
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided. Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
